It seems as though the failing economy and the massive unemployment in America has begun to slow considerably in the last couple of months. The panic and hysteria involved in the US market has begun to calm, and employers are once again considering expanding and hiring employees once again. Though it is certainly going to take some time for us to see the job market completely climb out of the slump we have been in, there are some ways that we can get employment now.

The health field though can not keep enough people. I was not really looking into jumping straight into a four year college degree. I would rather start towards the bottom and work my way up. I looked into programs for certified nurse assistant (CNA).

I had quite a few friends who were in the field and they love it. A few went on to get their nursing degree, but quite a few stayed in this job because they loved it so much. You can get a degree partly online. You can become a specialized health technician from these degrees as well.

Finally he looked into becoming a CNA (certified nursing assistant). The cna training was only 8 weeks long, and a large portion of it was done online. The government even paid for him to go back to school.

With a certified nursing assistant their duties can be somewhat of the messy ones, but if you love working and helping people you wont mind that. Mainly the lpn's jobs are to keep track of the patients blood pressure and to sustain their temperature and comfort. And maybe occasionally bring them some water. Not quite as difficult, but still a good career.

It should also teach one to properly document patient records to make the treatment and implementations easy for the nurse or doctor on the patient's case.

Check out some of these programs for yourself, it is a fast growing career field.
