Introducing dogs and babies in the same house would not be quite comfortable for both, and as a consequence, anything can happen. Both the baby and the dog need to be prepared to receive each other. One of the parties may not welcome the other, but since it will have to be their new home, they you must make them recognize and reconcile any differences they may ever have.
One recommendation is that you install the baby's bits and pieces well ahead of times. This recommendation is made by the SPCA International, which states that the dog will easily adapt to the change around it, if this is done.
By so doing, the dog adapts fast and will not disturb when it sees the bay coming in from afar. It would have already identified the change in the house, and can then start waiting to see the next change.
