Everybody knows that women populate the world more than men and they are trying to be more than men. I hope you men are not jealous because I say this, though the basic thing is that what a man can do, a woman are able to do better and there is no arguing regarding it.
Anyway, this post is about the college scholarships for women and how they are to go about obtaining them. In this present world, we have noticed that women are becoming things they weren't supposed to be in the past and those who haven't gotten to that height and have grown old and grey are regretting it. It is of a truth that so many organizations are encouraging women to undergo STEM undergraduate degree. These groups that are making this happen will be listed below and I expect you to pay attention because the best must be seen in you and you have to let it show.
So, here goes;
1. Society of women engineers: this group has helped greatly in the awarding of scholarships to about 200 women who are pursuing their careers in engineering and technology and the awards range from $1,000 to $20, 000 and they appoint sophomores and also grad students.
2. The center of ladies in technology: scholarships can also be found for women who are fascinated by studying computer science, business engineering science, computer engineering, and any other course that is under the engineering aspect.
3. Girl scouts of the USA: they offer scholarships to students who are interested in STEM.
4. American Agri-Women: this organization has offered $1,000 scholarships to women and not just any woman but those who are interested in agriculture. In this present time, I have observed that people hate doing any work that has to do with the tilling of the soil because they occupy themselves with the thought that such things are meant for poor people. The truth is, without this, no one will be able to eat in this life and death will come calling, at a rapid rate.
5. Google Anita Borg memorial scholarship: this groundwork was founded by a woman called Anita Borg and to request this, it's essential to be sure to be entering your senior year or you will even be a grad student who is studying computer science. The GPA must be at least 3.5 and above.
6. Sony online entertainment: hey! Remember Sony? The video game and fun filled organization? I am so thrilled to know that they also offer scholarship to people and I am very sure it will be an interesting thing to learn how to make video games and the rest. They award $1,000 scholarship and a one year internship to applicants. 8. Emerge scholarships, inc.: this particular organization has given over half a million dollars in the name of scholarship and they are still functioning as at now. This organization selects women who had a slight delay or problem in their educational life and those who have the insight to being a success.
Sometimes, I'm wondering if women don't find it to exhausting to sit at home all day doing nothing but the regular housekeeping jobs. To me, I find it annoying and I wouldn't like people to traverse that. Staying busy is extremely important and they can also add value to your life.
