There is an extra burden for spouses of service members to attempt to further their careers and schooling. Even if their goals entail further study, sometimes they find it difficult or impossible due to frequent relocation. Military spouse education benefits allow for coursework to be taken entirely online. This enables them to continue their coursework without interruption.
Although some schools will accept transfer credit, it can be difficult to do that, and sometimes it is impossible. Not all institutions give the same credit for those courses. This leads to an interruptions, and sometimes even a loss of credits. When the study in online, that is not a problem.
It is a necessary to examine goals and dreams before beginning an educational pursuit. It must be decided what the real goal is in reference to the career, and what professional goals are important.
